When describing a group of PSTN lines associated with a main number the technical term used here by the carrier is a 'rotary group'.

When i here hunt group i associate this with extns, trunk groups with , trunks.
It mainly depends on what the kit manufactor calls it in programming or the manual. Example COS on Imagination and COS on SX2000 are different.
