Your best bet is to go to Hello Direct, they make many types of very good headsets. The only trouble is that with all headsets you can't return them so if you can you should make sure the cust. knows this and get them involved in the selection. If you call them they will recommend the best unit for your needs.

DID's from HECK !!!!!

I would also look at the Plantronics wireless headsets. We have about a 20 person call center that all use the wireless headsets and they have no problems with them. The batteries are rechargeable. They have told me that they get about 3 hours of talk time on one battery. You can also buy extra batteries pretty cheap.

www.calloneonline.com

www.cdw.com

Both of these places carry these headsets and more..

The Plantronic headsets are good. I know they had some charging problem because we had to send some of ours to the manufactor. But I think they solved it.
Did you hear the one about..............

headsets for Partner Phones

Hey Mitch, I would have to disagree with Teleprog on Hello Direct. We used to go with them but made a switch to Plantronics. We have a 250 person call center and I found that the Hello Direct were constantly breaking. The cords were fraying a lot. No offense to Teleprog but I thought they were trash. We have had very few problems with the Plantronics. Also, here is where we get the Headsets:

Phone Supplements
Ken Jones Email: kjones@phonesupplements.com
602.252.6868 or 800-201-6840
http://www.phonesupplements.com/

They are very good and can ususally get the Headsets out to you quickly.

No offense taken , I usually let the customer pick there own so they can't blame me when they don't like it. When I have to get them one I go with the high end models which are pricey but then you don't have problems. There lower end units aren't the best.

I had completely forgotten about Plantronics, they do make a good quick disconnect unit.
Good call

The Nortel Song

The Headsets we use are made by Avaya, or at least that's what the sticker says...hehehe. Comcode 407 153 253 or Pec Code 49352-01. It has a quick disconnect plug and plugs straight into the partner set thru the aux port, or you can use a simple line splitter and plug it into the jack itself. So far, we've not had any trouble with them at all and they dont require batteries.
