If you set one up read the install instructions carefully... I didn't read them and wasted a few hours.

Location: Terre Haute, IN Rep Power: 6 ![]() | We are using a 4 port card(3fx0/1fxs) and playing (testing various SIP phones). I have 1 2500 set and multiple SIP phones working. There is a module (unistim) to allow a i2004 to work but I have not been able to get it to play nice. I can make calls but can't be called.

Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Transfer CDN's to a certain script Below is my response from a similar post in another UserGroup. With Asterisk you need to look deep into their name particularly you need to emphasise the last four characters R-I-S-K. Open source is a novel concept...it's been around for a very long time. The main reason open source box's and applications have not found their way into enterprises as often as a CFO would like to see, is because the CIO understands that he would need an army of high saleried Engineers to support, and write code for something that can easily be purchased pardon the pun "off the shelf" from a manufacture such as Nortel or Microsoft. When you add up all the costs "supposing you attach a $$ value to your end-users frustration" that expensive Nortel solution does not look all that expensive after all. Most organizations need to witness it for themselves first-hand as opposed to learning from the mistakes of others.
