Why is it that after hours work is never short? There never seems to be "Quick" when After-Hours work is concerned.

"It Should be about 15 minutes or so" = 1.5 to 2 hours at minimum
"It Shouldn't take long" = 5 hours
"Vendor Meet" = At least 6 to 7 + Hours
"Network Upgrade" = All Night+
:casstet:

I used to tell my wife it won't take that long, now I just tell her not to wait up, because she wouldn't believe whatever time frame I give

What happened to the old board?

BOY OH BOY do I KNOW what that's like...
My favorite: "It'll be a Slam Dunk"....means...What SHOULD be a "Peice of cake" and take 3 days, is a royal pain and takes over a week. :P

After Hours Nocturnal Work

BUT THE ALLTIME FAVORITE IS WHEN THE CUSTOMER STARES YOU STRAIGHT IN THE FACE AND LIES.............

...but my phone didnt work yesterday and today it works OK.........
This is why the majority of Phone Technicians are heavy drinkers and drug users.....

Recording calls to a set

OUR SERVICE RATES....

$75.00 per hour if we do the job.
$85.00 per hour if you help us do the job.
$95.00 per hour if you do the job and we watch...

IF GOD WE TRUST...ALL OTHERS PAY CASH...

maybe we should start a category just on this topic, because it could go on forever....

What does a "MSG FROM SHELF1:XPEC Error#0001" mean?

Five things you don't want to hear from Tech Support:

1. "Duuuuuude! Bummer!"

2. "In layman's terms, we call that the Hindenburg Effect."

3. "Your problem can be fixed, but you're going to need a butter
knife, a roll of duct tape and a car battery."

4. "Press 1 for Support.
Press 2 if you're with '60 minutes.'
Press 3 if you're with the FTC."

5. "Hold on a second, please ... Mom! Timmy's hitting me!"
