Is the BCM v3.6 compatible with CISCO VOIP

I had a person ask me if there was something that they could purchase to record their cell phone conversations. I told her that there may be a legal issue, but I guess it is a nasty divorce. I have not searched on the net yet, but was curious whether anyone here has used something like this.
Thanks

Recording cell phone conversations

Some cell phones have a built in recorder like my Nokia cell phone.
I donīt think there is any other way to do it.

Not sure that would work to record the ongoing convo tho, Icy (I'm a Nokia user as well)

There are a couple of "phone tap" type of products around, and of course, the legality of using ANY of them abound....Nasty divorce aside, this person really ought to ask his Lawyer about the idea before they do it, these devices aren't often cheap, and the recordings may not be admisable in the case (could even get the person in DEEPER leagle issues for recording them at all)
At any rate, check out places like Bolide International or Counter Spy Shops.

Yeah I did some searching and those puppies aren't cheap.
I also looked up KY state law, and surprisingly it is legal, so long as the person that is recording is one of the parties.
IL and some others are a bit more strict. One recorder that I saw had no hardware, it was recorded remotley.

I did advise since this person was planning on talking to their lawyer, to double check the law.
Thanks

The only other way that I know of would be to us a headset adapter recorder such as this one:

Carrying around such and adapter along with a palm recorder would be pretty bulky though! I guess it all depends on how badly they want to catch that abusive caller.

The other option you have if the cell phone is Bluetooth enabled would be this one:

Yeah, that'd be best, especially if they plan on using it in court for purposes of gaining the uperhand in the preceedings. It may be legal to record it, but may not be legal (or admisable) to use it.
