the Pepdog parser I have worked great until we upgraded to Office '03...now it errors out
I'm in desperate need of one that will do the trick, as I've got a 1000 user switch to clean up (need to remove old DNs)
Anyone got one?

Don't have one but we're having the same problems... maybe Chas could monkey with the VB to make it work.

Thus far we're making do with windoze 2000 on a laptop. If need be you could send the TNB/DNB to one of us and we can pharse and send it back...

Country:
PG - Check the code, that error indicates that the Input or Output file has already been read or is empty.

To manually check for the error:

1. Open your parser,
2. Goto Tools Menu and Select Macros then Macros,
3. Highlight the main macro for the parser and click Edit,
4. The first portion of the code will be variables - scroll past those,
5. Your looking for a FUNCTION filename.....,
6. Once you find a Function place your cursor on the FUNCTION command,
7. Press F8 once and the code should start to run - Highlighting each line as it you continue to press F8.
8. Interact with any pop up windows as you normally would and continue to press F8 until you get that run time error.

Once you've found it - post it.

Where can I download the parser program.

Sounds like you got locked in a loop with a While Wend statement.

Close the program, open it and follow the same steps as before.

When you see the file already open error press the square STOP button at the top of the window.

Then scroll down - there should be another Function or Sub Function that uses the file you opened.

Place your curson there and press F8 to run each line.
