IP Office

I'm going to apologize for my ignorance upfront but I also want to point out that the salespeople at Bestbuy (enough said) don't know/aren't confident with the answers either.

I'm looking at buying a new laptop, in the past, most if not all laptops came with a serial port standard, now none of the new ones I'm looking at have them, instead they have USB ports which I (not the Bestbuy salespeople mind you) deducted there must be some type of serial adapter available to convert to a serial DB-9 type of connection to enable us telecom types to talk to our equipment, the salesperson then showed me such an adapter but wasn't 100% positive/convincing, is this the magic piece I need to make it work?

Call Queues just ringing when all agents are logged out

Yes, there is a USB to DB9 (serial) converter/adapter. They all very in price but function the same.

Good Luck!!

Stick with a Toshiba Laptop......I got a P2 thats 4 years old that I use for programming and its great...but heavy...

I understand DELL's is OK, but they are under fire for their failure to make due on their rebates......

As a matter of fact, I'm considering either the Toshiba S-205 or much less likely due to the price the S-255
