(Meridian) Well the phone are just standard Meridian 2616 handsets with Plantronics headsets, (all hard-wired to the phone) Have tried the older type and the new N/C headsets, nothing seems to help. I was wondering of there a way to ajust the volume that your voice is sent at. Is there any way to check to see if the headset is muted? Thanks Gus

| Users complain customers can't hear them. (Meridian) On the amp, which I assume is an M-12 or M-10, there is a compartment on the side next to the battery access cover. If you slide this off, you will see a small white outgoing volume control. There is a white screwdriver attatched to the back of the unit for adjusting your volume. Clockwise to increase. And that is right, there is a cover that slides off the side next to the battery compartment, if I remember correctly, it should be set to 4 or 5 to work with the 2616 and there is a small volume adjustment just to the right of that. OR, the batteries may need changing! Good Luck! | ||||||||

The headset is designed to plug directly into the HEADSET socket in the bottom of the phone, there are 3 sockets in fact, line in, handset and headset. Un-like the old type of headset where there was a box that the headset went into with a volume and mute controls on these new type of headsets plug directly into the bottom of the phone.
