How do the users rate these.
Any IP users out there?
you cant go wrong picking up this product. I have been dealing with the Tadiran product since 96... I love this product. My company is a toshiba dealer as well, and I can honestly say I would rather install and work on Tadiran. We have a lot of Tadiran systems here in Texas and all of our customers seem to like it. The IP capabilties rate high with the Nortel and AVAYA and Cisco. The new version of the IP card can use Cisco phones if used under the SIP protocol..... We have the Tadiran product in many different configuations and it works very well. Straight IP, IP and Digital, IP digital and hospitality. You name it we've done it with the Tadiran......

I agree with the previous poster.

I find the Tadiran range quite versatile and yet simple and logical to implement.

Something on their latest (award winning) IPx office system. Check it out at

Jan. 25 2006

Internet Telephony Magazine (a TMC publication) announced that Tadiran Telecom’s newly released Coral IPx Office was a 2005 Product of the Year award winner!
Internet Telephony editor Greg Galitzine comments that this recognition provides a good “starting point for individuals seeking solutions that will help them achieve their goals, be it to save money, grow their business, or embrace the hottest telecommunications technology out there.”

Tadiran Coral info

Hi all,

I'll answer several peoples questions in this post.

1. The official Tadiran website is tadirantele . com which is an international page and also has a link on the top right for the US market which goes to tadiran-us . com (had to do this cos it won't let me post hyperlinks yet!!)
2. I was installing Corals in New Zealand and then worked for the importer of Tadiran systems in Australia as 3rd level support to dealer engineers as well as installing them for government departments directly so if you have any technical questions then I should be able to help
3. The Coral is one of the easiest and best systems I've worked on over the last 10 years. It's so easy to learn, I taught myself by reading the books and trying stuff. The PI (Programming Interface) is in English so it's easy to move around. To get to Group setup simply type GROUP (or more specifically HUNT or PICKUP). It's logically arrange in menus so once you go to GROUP it will list the types of groups. It can also be accessed by numbers so once you know it you can type things like 0,0,7 which will get you to DDI (or DID depending on where you come from) programming.

Hope this helps.

Cheers

Are there any quick reference guides out there for older systems? I just took over management of a Coral system (v9.x I believe). I'm originally an Avaya guy, so it's a bit of adjustment. Unfortunately, I've got very little documentation available. Any ideas would be appreciated. At this point, I cannot even perform a station move or change. (I know that's pretty sad.)

This is only one of the new products from Tadiran. Their systems can grow to over 4000 ports stand alone and multi site configs thru networking.

The IPx Office is the smallest system and offers a "all in one box" kind of solution with WLAN and router options. The other systems FlexiCom and IPx series go up to 6000 ports but can be networked for as many as you want. There's also the new Coral Sea Softswitch which has no limit on the number of users http://www.tadirantele.com/solutions...oftswitch.aspx and is a completely new, build from the ground up, SIP based solution that can use the existing systems as connections to standard TDM equipment.
