Are there any legacy Tadiran PBX systems whose support has been discontinued or is planned to be discontinued in the near future by Tadiran?
Thanks

I know Tadiran is phasing out some of the old phones like the DKT series phones. You may be able to get them on the second hand market but they are becoming more scarce. The CMC on OS2 is discontinued and will no longer be supported by tech support.

Tadiran is making anything with an SVC card limited to version 14.67...still IP capable. Tadiran is now moving on to version 15.

Basically they are moving into a softswitch capability with the Coral Sea. Version 15 is important because they are implementing SIP.

V.15 sees the arrival of SIP as well as:

*access to the programming interface (KB0) via LAN.
*Internal traffic monitor
* Major IP enhancements - IP socket notation, IP zones, Sentinel Pro etc..

* The following systems are not supported by Coral Version 15.xx
• Coral SL, I, II-SVC, III-SVC
• Coral FlexiCom 200, 200 CDRS, 300 and 400V

Looks good!! Coral Sea is a linux based softswitch which can have a max of 60 (i think) in a cluster. The PBX's still act as a gateway in the Coral Sea setup
