Rep Power: 0 ![]() | PBX programing Hi: does anyone know about programming(voicemail set-up) for numbers in a boss group; or is it possible to take/withdraw that number from the Boss group; it is so much easier to work outside these groups(Boss,Hunt etc) would appreciate any help via manuals or here from this group; cboodram@dot.ga.org TMC

Boss Group 400 Members 410 & 411 DDI 98765400 goes to Boss Group 400 No Answer diversion on 400 to voicemail You want calls to the boss group to leave a message and light the light on one/both of the members (400 & 401) - is that correct? Getting the call to voicemail is easy. It depends on what voicemail you have - uCMC,iCMC,WiCMC (ones using the APDL) just divert the boss group to the APDL xtn and it will end up at mailbox 400. Or if using SFC,iVMF or any 3rd party voicemail you'll need a hunt group with SLS members, create a Public Library with OutTk as the VM hunt group and Dial Num as 400. Getting it to light more than one light will depend on what voicemail it is as it will be controlled within the voicemail itself. Is this what you're after?

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | PBX and its programming Thanks for the reply smaunsell; I am less than 12 mths in this job and is learning bits and pieces from contractors and folks like you and other bloggers; what you have explained is way over my head;some acronyms I am getting used too while others I ask for the meaning; I am working with a Coral ISBX system from Tadiran Telecom; am not sure if this is an antique or a recent unit; TMC(where I work) is Traffic Management Center so the phone system is the lifeline here as operators get calls from the public for traffic problems; these operators are in a boss group and the supervisors have silent monitoring; there is also an ACD(Auto Call Distribution) unit for calls; this might be too much explanation, but I am giving a heads-up of the situation I am in and why I may ask some trival questions that may be common to most Techs thanks TMC

However 1994 is the default code for the Directory feature so this may have been changed in NPL. But this doesn't relate to your original post about Boss groups?????? If it's Auto Set Relocate you're wanting to do and you're getting a 'busy tone' then something is wrong. Firstly check NPL and Show your feature codes (NPL,0,5,9) and see what is on Index 220 to see what Auto Set Relocate is. Check KEY (or IST/SLT) for the xtn you want to swap with and see what the PASSCODE is set to. Then dial eg ffff xxxx pppp eee - ffff is the Feature code, xxxx is the xtn you want to swap with, pppp is the passcode of the xtn you're swapping with, and eee is the Edit confirmation code (see NPL,0,5,10). Are you usign a Keyset? What shows on the screen?
