Location: TX Rep Power: 3 ![]() | Well, I haven't worked too much with the Softphone all that much but I thought the directory could either work with Outlook or the Directory in the phone system. Is the directory working on a regular desk phone?

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | The soft phone directory is disabled by default. When the soft is closed, change the lines in file: c:\Documents and Settings\[username]\SoftPhone\directory_cfg.txt from false to true, than run it again. If you have a huge list of conatcs, it will you take some time. If by any chance you are talking about the system feature named directory [AKA #1994?]- it is working on any keyset with display including the soft. ![]()

Location: Breda Rep Power: 0 ![]() | thanks riman, something has changed when i changed the file. ![]() but i now see the mouse change in a sandglass (or how do you say this) this does not stop. ![]() by the way i think it has nothing to do with the feature Directory in the coral. which is enabled by the way hopefully the sandglass will go away and the function starts to work. i have added a bitmap as attachment. in the right corner is the button i am talking about. just for the record! Location: Melbourne Rep Power: 0 ![]() | When you say the 'right corner' I assume this is the one on the top right corner? To the immediate right of the screen? This is for the Directory that will look at your Outlook contacts. The text file riman mentioned to edit has the following entries: use.outlook.state false use.outlook.directory false use.outlook.contacts false After changing use.outlook.contacts to true I too got the hourglass for quite some time (I have hundreds of contacts) but it did eventually go away (give it 5mins) and I could use the Directory and dial my Outlook contacts and add new ones. Changing the use.outlook.state to true gives you another option (icon to the right of the hangup button) to 'Use Outlook Calendar'. This is to use the Rules function to treat calls differently depending on your state (free, busy etc). Although I can't get that to work at the moment! I found a small bug in this version - when expanding the Directory out to the right it cuts off the top bit so you can see the X to close.
