Help - Does anyone have MTBF info
G'Day,
I am after MTBF info on the Flexicom IPX range of systems. I need this for a Business case to upgrade a site from a older NEC system to a Tadiran system.

If any one has some info that they could send me it would be great.

MTBF = Mean Time to Busy Failure. I am after info on operational time to failure of system equipment.

MTBF as a conviction argument?
That's new to me.
If you need this data, your distributor should have it for you.

They say it is commercial in confidence.
I knew I should have kept all this information when I moved on from working for the distributer. I use to be the compliance engineer for the product into Aust.

I didn't think getting this info would be this hard, at this rate I will have to write my business case and recommend a Ericsson which I don't want the network but I have their MTBF figures.

I am sure you could get this information from the Manufacturer.

It seems that you want this product instead of the Ericcson so if your recommendation goes far with the powers that be, I am sure your business case can persuade the higher ups in your company to go with the Tadiran. You would be a lot better off getting the Tadiran than the Ericsson. Ericsson is not even sold in the US anymore that I know of.
