Question PC sound to Phone

I want to connect the sound of my PC (miniplug) to a phone (rj11).
Can you tell me how to connect it?
Thanks!

To record, or play sound? Radio Shack has devices that are used to record off an RJ-11. I don't know of any for playing sound into the RJ-11.

I want to play a music on my PC and listen it on the phone.
I'm thinking to connect the cable of the miniplug directly to the phone mic, does it works?
Thanks for your reply!

Connecting to the speaker output from the sound card to the microphone wires on the phone will probably not work. Doesn't cost anything to try though. Give it a try and let us know if it works.

Hi iforci
The signal level from your PC is likely to be much to high to simply connect into the microphone wiring of your phone - it will therefore be seriously overloaded and just come out as distortion. Also you should be careful not to damage the PC, since the phone may have a condenser microphone which needs DC power to operate, but this may damage the computer.
Watch out to that you are not breaking your telephone company regulations by connecting mains operated equipment (the computer) to their telephone network without a mains barrier (usually an isolating transformer).
If you can explain a bit more about what you are trying to achieve, we may be able to advise you better.
