Hi there,

I have a new sales guy in the office who wants to have his phone divert to reception if busy rather than Voicemail.
How do I do this? none of my doco gives me the option to variably divert.

Cheers
Schooner

Yeah DTU, had that one, but our system doesn't have the variables set to allow no answer to be treated differently to busy etc. also the *9419 relocation feature is not activates and whoever installed this hard wired the wall outlets direct to the IDF so jumper changes are a "Bain in the Putt". I need to rewire the office onto a seperate patch rack from the Data points so I can at least bring some semblance of order to this unholy mess.

Thanks for the manual

Cheers

hey if you use the manager tool (manager E) if you go to the incoming call tab, then go to assingment int./ext., you can change the list that you want it to follow(ex. 25) for just day or night or internal, then go to the call destination tab and in there, whatever dest. list you entered(ex. 25) scroll down to 25 and put a * in the first field which will try to ring his phone first then put the reception ext. in the next field. you might have to play with the cycles but it should work

hope this works
