Question Troubleshooting SL1 Dect phones

Hello everyone.

I was wondering if maybe someone has some tips about repairing SL1 colour phones?
For example why it is intermittently losing volume (suddenly mutes) at external speaker; at the same time it sometimes dims the display and cannot brighten it, even after a key was pressed... Or why is it that smoe units sense low battery when it should be OK for at least next 24 hours?

Thanks!

Does this happen on all handsets or one in particular?

What system are you using and version number, it sometimes helps to track down problems quicker.

Regards

DanB

Hi DanB.
No, it doesn't happen on all the sets. On some....
Also, I have a bout 10 sets which just shut down and power up without losing time/date setting, when I try to apply changes to Alarm Clock.

My main System is A4400 R3.0 , old I know, and I do have to reboot Node with dect boards once every two weeks to avoid problems with phones not receiving calls or not being able to make a call... Originally we had 4074's, plenty of those, but after 7 years of abuse and constant repairing, we had to find some cheaper option... and it was SL1 colour, from Siemens.
