Optipoint 500 Standard Question

Hi,

I've got an Optipoint 500 Standard handset with a corded headset attached. I'd like to be able to press the speaker button to use the headset (instead of picking up the handset as I currently do).

Thanks.

You would need a headset button programed on your telephone. After that is done you would use your speaker button to turn your headset on and off, again, provided you had a headset button though.

Thanks Steve.

If I could be provided with the steps to programme the headset button, that'd be much appreciated.

you can use your telephone to program a headset button: *91 ->press feature key you wish to be the headset button -> confirm change feature -> select the headset and confirm. it's done!

other way, you can program this button via manager E.
