Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Integrate ROLM 9005 with Cisco I am working on a solution to integrate a ROLM 9751 CBX mod 50 9005 with a Cisco IPT solution. The issue I am having is ANI Name delivery between the systems. Does anybody know of a way or what is needed to get this to work and/or have done this? From what I have found the only solution I have found that looks like it will work is to use an intermediary device a Hicom to connect to the ROLM using CORNET and to the Cisco gateway using any standard ISDN protocol. Calls between systems including ANI DN work fine at this point.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | calling ID number from Rolm to Cisco GW I have a similar situation and it sounds like you have solved the part I am trying to get to work. I have a Rolm 9751 / 9005. It is connected to my Cisco GW by a T1 CAS trunk. On both the Rolm and Cisco sides, I am using E&M signaling. With this configuration, calls pass fine both ways with no issues, but dont recieve any call number or name info. I was told that E&M FGD (double wink) signaling would provide the calling number on the Cisco phones but I cant get that to work. I would love to just be able to see the number of the Rolm phone that is calling me at my Cisco phone. I would appreciate any help.

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | At this point I am not concerned with caller ID from outside calls to Cisco through the Rolm, but merely internal call info only. Since E&M doesnt apear to be the answer, can you suggest something more feasible? The CAS trunk was configured before I inherited this and perhaps there is a better, more efficent way to achieve this? I'm not tied to a CAS trunk if indeed there is a better, cost effective method. Thanks again and thank you for the quick response!
