Hi, I have a network of Siemens HiComs interconnected in a VoIP network.

An ISDN PRI via QSIG is connected to a Cisco/Quintum voice gateway and then to the VoIP network.

The issue is that I want to have the calling name displayed over a trunk connection. For calls local to the PBX it works. The issue is to have the calling name displayed for calls between two PBXes. As you understand, I can't switch to CORNET.

Hi
Can you give me a bit more information?
What cards in the Hicom are you using and can you draw up a sketch?

Why do the connections have to be via a VoIP Gateway?

Are they all the same type of Hicom? Which one are they?

Have you checked what information the CISCO/Quintum router is sending or passing through? Is it trying to add or delete digits?

RE: Siemens HiCom 300E full docs pack available, hosting ?

Hi DTU,

finally I managed to do it. It was in the QSIG "dialect" used.
Now the whole network of Siemens HiCom 150/300, interconnected via ISDN PRI/QSIG with voice gateways (and then H323) exchanges also calling names. A really nice feature.

The problem now is to make HiCom displaying the calling names sent by Cicso Call Manager. the Call Manager sends them as "Display Information Elements".
