I have my Siemens phonemail box programmed to outcall my cell phone. 100% of the time my cell phone CID shows unavailable when phonemail calls me. About two weeks ago it suddenly started displaying a CID. It worked for a couple of days and then went back to unavailable. I had not reconfigured anything before, during, or after. A while back I actually spent a couple of hours trying to make phonemail display a CID, and gave up. Phonemail has 16 analog channels, and each has a CID number programmed. When phonemail did display a CID is was not a programmed number. My local trunks are PRIs. I am wondering if for some reason when it worked a different trunk group was being siezed to place the outcall. I have 2 local PRIs, and have never known them to be full causing a overflow to my LD PRIs for local calling. I would like to think I would have known if I had a PRI down during this time, as my full time job is burping this baby. Any ideas?
PS PBX is 9006.6

I fixed it. I discovered the number type for each interface was set to undefined. I changed the type to National, and the programmed CID number goes out fine. Still doesn't explain the wierd caller ID I recieved for a week.
