RE:

Has anybody heard anything about Siemens no longer supporting the DX series of PABX's?
In Australia I have heard that as of the end of this year or early next year they will no longer make new parts for the DX. Somewhere in 2-3 years they will no longer guarentee spares and by 2010 they will no longer support it.

I am about to go to my sales rep and Support Manager to see what the story is.

Well it's pretty much Official here in Australia.
After 2007 spares for the ISDX will be on best effort basis and 2010 will pretty much be the end of official support for the ISDX.

Siemens are very keen to push the upgrade path of the ISDX to the HiPath 4000.
This isn't really a problem for me as I have a HICOM 300E which can easily be upgraded to a HiPath 4000 and expanded to replace the ISDX and have one PABX instead of two/three (I have a smaller ISDX-sn sitting off my ISDX-L, which is basically acting as a remote shelf these days).
So now it will be politics and budgets as to what the organisation wants to do.
