DSS Keys

We are having issues with our dss keys on some phones. On some of our phones, the dss light will work, but a second light will light up, usually an unused dss key. Is there a table somewhere to find out if the dss key that is lighting up, but doesn't have anything programmed, has remnents of old programming on it?

I am not familiar with the model80 variant of the Hicom, I believe this to be a US variant.

What programming interface do you have access to?

The graphical interface and DIPAS will both show what keys are programmed as what.

If you have access to DIAPS then the AMO TAPRO is the one you need.

DIS-TAPRO:STN,XXXX;
This will show you what the keys are programed as on the particular extension.
You need to display ZIEL to see the individual key programming

DIS-ZIEL:DSS,XXXX; To show DSS key destinations.

Through the phone menu you should be able to see what the key is programed as (such as DSS but will not show the destination but if you press the press the button it should dial what is programmed).

Program/Services:
Key function?

Key layout
Please press a key:

Direct Station select
Change? > Delete? > Return?

We are using LCWin as the interface with the switch. I tried both dis-ziel and dis-tapro in AMO and for both it said that "Data subsystem for amo (tapro/ziel) not found on hard disk."

Sorry must be the difference in European to US versions.

What about through the phone any luck there? Probably different from what I have written above.

Even when programming from the phone, it doesn't seem to wipe out the remnants that remain on the PEN.

US version HiCom300.

dis-kepro:stn,xxxx; xxxx= Ext. #
dis-kepro:std,y,digtype; y=STD #
This will show you what the keys are programmed as on the particular extension.

You need to display DEST to see the individual key programming

dis-dest:dss,xxxx; to show DSS key destinations.
del-dest:dss,xxxx,z; z=Key # to delete DSS key
