Please post the LTK, also did you option the trunk card

I use the LTK/RTK for the attributes from 1 to 19. for attribute #1 is 0, #10 is 1, #14 is 2 and #15 is 4. How do I option the card. What is happening, is whenever I connect the line to the paging system and dialed the access code, I hear a busy tone. When I remove the line and dailed it is ok. Please advise.

Attribute 19 is for loop start-ground start, it needs to be loop start. Also on the trunk card itself there is a switch pack, I believe it's on the bottom of the card. It's got 4 dip switches marked 1-4 which are the trunks make sure that page trunk is loop start.

No, the Lp/Gnd start is set by the dip switches only....there IS an attrib to set the trunk as a PAGE trunk (my Quick Ref Guide is at home)...also it must be set to CUT THRU or maybe making it PAGE sets that..look at the trunk TYPE attrib. Make sure you are NOT siezing it with your paging gear (have a isolation cap, non polarized, in line with one side of the pager; preferably both!)...
Set your access code to 71 or similar (use a 2 digit code if you decide to want another page connection later...or a single digit if your paging controller can do ZONE via DTMF.)
