Hi, I'm working with a customer who uses a HiPath 3750, and they tell me they have Version 5.0 of the Siemens software running on it. They have a couple of PRI's coming into the switch from the local telco, for phone service. We need to run a T1 tie-trunk to another PBX of a different manufacturer on the back side. The HiPath has a model "TMST1" DS-1 card from which it can supply this T1. The HiPath has to remain the master side with respect to this other switch

Does anyone know if this Siemens config will support an E+M tie-trunk connection out to this other switch? (Wink signaling preferred.) Or, possibly can this Siemens setup provide a PRI to this other switch, say with NI-2?

you need to setup the tie using QSIG. that is the only way way it will talk to another vendors pbx.
