Hicom OfficePoint C / Hipath 3550/3350

I just bought a used Siemens OfficePoint C (basically a OfficeCom with 4 less card slots) with hipath software.
I have a few questions that I hope someone here may know.

1. The power supply makes a buzzing noise kind of like a modem. Is this normal? It also sometimes makes a high
pitched noise.

2. What is the difference with a TST1 and a TMST1? I have a slot for both, can I just use a TMST1. Id rather
use that because I can actually find it (and at a reasonable price used). If I have one OfficePro slot, shouldn’t
I be able to use the TMST1? Or is T1 card use limited by software rather then hardware? What are my options for
a T1?

3. Because this PBX is basically a underequipped OfficeCom, is it possible to solder the missing connectors on
the backplane. There does not look to be any electronics on the backplace, just connectors. Is the amount of
boards installed limited by software or hardware. Hipath 3000 manager shows my cabinet as a 3550/OfficeCom.

4. Looking at the datasheets, I cannot find a definitive answer for what the capacity of this PBX is. I am in
a unique situation that I have a OfficePoint C with hipath software. Am I limited by software or (lack of)
connectors/installable boards? How many digital stations and trunks (without the digital set phone adaptor) can be used on this PBX?

5. Is the number is SPIDS (for ISDN) limited to 8 which would mean I have a max of 4 ISDN lines? The hipath
service guide states that max 8 SIPDS are allowed but the US oriented datasheet states 16 "trunks". I plan to use this
switch with ISDN to begin with on a 5ESS CO switch.

6. Is there any way to control speakerphone volume centrally?

Thank you for any help.
