Changing number of rings before forward to voicemail?

Our CEO would like his secretary's phone to forward to voicemail after three rings instead of the current six.

How do I go about doing this?

We use a Seimens GPT ISDX-S system with a VoxBox Titan voicemail attached.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Hello,
Depending on the level of software, there is a system wide setting that can be changed to shorten everyones ring length. Also, on newer versions you can shorten the ring length of a select few.

What level of software are we talking about?

The bad news then Typhoo is you'll have to tell your CEO that he can't have it for a single extn.

If he wants to change the setting for the whole site then you'll need to look at system parameters TMRI1, TMRI2, TMBIV and TMRIV depending on exactly what you want and how the users are forwarding to voicemail.

Hope this helps
