Our company has a Siemens/Rolm Hicom 300 E CS, it is currently meeting most of our needs with exceptions. We have been looking into other options specifically Asterix and Avaya.

Avaya because it is the corporate standard and our little branch of the company would recieve large discounts. But we would have to rewire the whole office. Total cost between $100,000. and $200,000. Before we do any of these things we need to know about integration of Avaya and Siemens or Asterix systems...

Does anyone know if a Siemens Hicom ACD line can be integrated to an offsite Avaya system? We have a customer service group here in Utah on a Siemens system and we need to have a few employees in Florida on the same system although their system is a brand new Avaya switch. Can this be done?

Also can an Asterix ACD system integrate with the Avaya Switch?

Our last resort is to spend the big bucks I mentioned earlier to go Avaya IP.
