Hi,

I am an Alcatel technician, and I have the honour to connect a 4400 to a Realitis DX System. Unfortunatly, my counterpart on Siemens Site does not have enough informations available (poor Africa ...). We already tried to interconnect the systems via QSig and DPNSS, but we are facing weird problems ...

On QSig:

I cannot see any Names or Features going through the link, and it cuts off after a while ...
(i had to change the logical channel scheme from 1-15&17-31 to 1-30)

On DPNSS:

Siemens incomming works perfect, Siemens outgoing very unstable ...
One example:

If I dial from the public world through the Siemens to the Alcatel, I get the signalling, and the ring, but if I answer the call, it keeps ringing on the far site ... (this is just on external calls) most of the internal calls get a busy or no speach.

We half found a reason for it, because the Siemens thinks, the channels are disconnected. But they are not ! If I establish a call from the Alcatel site, it opens them, what will give me a timeframe of round about 10 seconds, to get an call going into the Alcatel successfully ...

On the Alcatel site, it also shows me that the channels getting disconnected but with a cause which I cannot find in the docs ...

Can anybody provide me some information in how the Realitis has to been set up for DPNSS and QSig GF to third parties ???

The DX is a release 6.2.001 and my Sync-Source and A in DPNSS Protocol ...

I run out of options to change in the Alcatel PBX ... and I get desperate ...
