Unhappy Siemens Realitis Help

Hi all,

I have an issue with a polycom conference phone. I am trying to get it to work on an analogue extension on the realitis but it wont connect the calls together. It has no recall button, so this makes using the feature codes impossible. Can anyone help?

Doesn't it have a 'FLASH' Button? Flash is the same as Recall.

What model of Polycom Conference phone is it?

What PBX system are you using it on. On a siemens hicom 300 the feature cose to initiate a conference is *3

you may also be required to change the flash time ie 100ms, 200ms etc on the polycom.

The polycom should have a "flash" key or a recall. By memory should be identified as an "R" on the keypad towards the top left.

Cheers
Clay

Cassius he said Realitis, which could either be Realitis DX or an older ISDX running Realitis software. I beleive the Realitis DX is an enhanced ISDX.
The ISDX I have is originally marked GPT now it's Siemens.

This works for Analogue phones on the ISDX running Relaitis 6.2
• When the first party answers, advise the receiver that a conference call is being organised.
• Press ‘Recall’ then proceed with ringing the second party. Advise the receiver that a conference call is being organised.
• Press ‘Recall’ and *4. This will join the two parties together.

Continue with the procedure until all parties are in conference.

RE: Realitis Conferencing

Hi,

Yes it is a realitis DX but the *4 function deosn't work from this extension. I have just heard that the polycom with only work with time break recall. Do you know if the Realitis is Earth Loop or Time break by default?

I think the command to change it is rssp but I am hoping this won't screw up all the other extensions? Anyone advise????

By the way I am told that the conference button is the recall button on the polycom but would this be the reason???

Ok first we need to establish if the flash/ R button is actually doing anything. When you press it do you put the call on hold? If you do then you need to find the facility code on your PABX that corresponds to conference it can vary. This is via the LFC command

Its okay,

I have actually sorted it now. The problem was that the system was using Earth Loop Recall and the soundstation 2 only uses Time break Recall. I used RSSP to revise the SPCAL attribute to 1 and hey presto it worked!!
Took a bit of time looking through the manuals but got there in the end.

Thanks to everyone who tried to help

Well done Ninem.

For those Interested.

RSSP - Revise System Software Parameters

SPCAL - Calibrated opening (time break recall). (0=not required -default, 1=required).
