Location: MIAMI, FLA Rep Power: 8 ![]() | YOU MAY ALSO HAVE GOTTEN A UNFORMATED HD DRIVE, HERE IS A PROCEDURE THAT WILL LET YOU FORMAT THE DRIVE WITHOUT THE FACTORY PASSWORD Take your IPL disks and look at them on your A: drive on your computer. There is a folder/file called disktool. Here is the fun part. Rename the resetpassword file something else (doesn't matter what) and rename the disktool file ResetPassword (rename it exactly how it was named on the IPL). Next, reboot the phonemail and enter the ROM command mode (p/w = techtest) Enter B to boot and choose to Boot from Floppy. When login prompt comes up, login and enter ?. Choose Resetpassword and baddabing baddaboom, you will access the Disktool. You will be able to format hard drives there. THIS IS NOT MINE AND I CAN'T TAKE CREDIT FOR IT BUT IT DOES WORK | ||||||||
