ACD Route Question on ROLM CBX 9751...

Being that there is a lack of documentation on the Web for this product, I'm working the forums. I'm trying to find a simple answer to a simple question. What does the Action "Off" entry (within the ACD_Route) mean...?

The question is specifically addressing a CBX Model 70, 9030A Processor, Rev 4.2. Release 9005.6.84. If this makes any difference at all. (?)

Thanks in advance for any help I can get on this...

Interesting! That is what I figured it to be, but the majority of the ACD Routes built have steps to 4-digit extension numbers, and not legitimate PSTN numbers. A couple do, but for the most part the entries are extension numbers.

What would be the difference between "Off" and "Ext" entries in the ACD Route steps...? And, what's the effect of having "Off" programmed in the steps when it's clearly an extension number that it's pointing too...?

Thanks again...

You Can Use The Routing Steps In Any Order Except For 3 Steps Disct, Go To, And Off Which Have To Be At The End Of The Script. Without Seeing Your Switch I Would Say That They Used (off) As The Final Step And Just Made It Go To An Extension. If You Like Send Me A Pm And I'll Be Glad To Email You A 9005 Cnfg Manual

You know, I think there is a difference between the two but I can't remember. I believe I had to use "Off" and point it towards my Phonemail access number to play like a "we are currently closed" listen only profile, and I think if was set to "Ext" and the Phonemail access number, the Phonemail did not receive the original ACD number when forwarded to Phonemail.

I'll have to recheck this, but I do remember having to foll around with these two conditions.
