ROLM 9751 Extension Card Problem

Dear Forum Members

we have a siemens rolm 9751 cbx running software version 9004

we are installing rolmlink interface cards... digital extension cards (16 lines) in the CBX in place of old ones that are faulty

as soon as we insert the card, the tone comes in the extensions..but just after 2-4 minutes a HISS sound starts to appear in all the extensions provided by the cards

we noticed one thing...that the existing cards i(that work fine) nstalled in the CBX have the following information written on them:

(on the board)
AN 1155800
MN 90678
EC 880002

(on a sticker right to the previous print)
ASM# 96D4861
MN# 91665
EC# A64344S

We ordered 13 cards from ebay and other online dealers...(problematic cards)..they have the following information

AN 98D1959
MN 90678
EC A64665V

ASM# 98D4538
MN# 90678B
EC# A65002U

any help would be highly appreciated..thanks

pictures of the cards

the attached image is the one not working (purchases via ebay and other sellers)

filename 3rolmlink_interfaces2.jpg

The second picture seems to be of the cards we already have in the CBX, that work...sorry this is not a closeup

Orignal Card.jpg

to add to the previous version...our exact software version is 9004.4.38

and the sound is not just a HISS..its actually much louder and disturbing

Polarity

thanks for the reply

we also bought 9 cards from a seller

the seller claims that this HISS/CRACKLING sound is due to mismatche polary
do you agree?

they say there are some blue/white wires that need to be played with to change the polarity and the sound will go off

all old model cards work fine....do you think the new cards would work by modifying the polarity...

thanks once again

Never Heard Of That, Been Working On Rolms For 22 Years. Early Rolmphones Were Polarity Conscience, Try Flipping Tip And Ring At The Mdf Or Jack.
