Maybe A Stupid Question, But Did You Place Them In The Map. If So What Kind Of Errors Are You Getting

PP, thanks for your reply....yes this shelf (no 7) was working till a few days ago, we lost power some days back and when the power was restored this shelf stopped working

ive tried connecting phones to this shelf (via the rolm interface card) and the phones and everything is getting appropriate power...so what else could go wrong....

also with reference to the second thread, what exactly is the command to activate these cards in say shelf 8, im not good with this stuff..sorry for any inconvenience

Do List Down And See If There Is Anything Down On Shelf 8, If So Go Into Diagnostics By Typing Dia. Then Type Up And The Pad Address, Like Up Pad 0816. You Still Didn't Say If You Had Anything The Error Table, Do A Li Errh ;;; And Post It

You Have A Sick Switch, Shelf 7 Has A Bad Expander On The Active Side That's Why You Have No Shelf 7 And A Bad Tasa On The Standby Side That's Why It Won't Switchover. You Need To Start Clearing The Pri 059 To 006 Errors Or You Will Never Get That Switch Back Up

thanks a lot for your reply, really appreciate it

so i need to replace to cards in the CBX if i gather correctly (please correct me if i got this wrong)

i) Rolm Expander card for shelf 7
ii) TASA card which i think is same for the whole CBX

the PRI ranges u mention also show a "SOURCE BUS (ISB) SHORT!!!"

does it mean i need to buy an ISB card as well?

lastly can you please help me with part numbers....where can i locate this products i need to buy..i got some sources to buy rolm cards from the internet..if u know any..please let me know..thanks once again ... : )

No The Isb Error Is Most Likely Caused By The Tasa Or Expander Or Both
