Rep Power: 0 ![]() | I have been working on a Rolm 9751 (9006) for the past year+. We have had the system for at least 12 years. I am looking into purchasing a new VoIP system, but I wanted to know when the inception of the 9751 was??

How many users are going to be on the new VOIP system? What is your data network like? Just curious, Thanks. __________________ -=Welcome to PBXInfo=- -Become a PBXInfo Supporter -Get more PM Space, Profile Picture, a Signature -Add yourself to Pbxinfo's Frappr -Find Nortel Software

Rep Power: 0 ![]() | The original 9751 came out in 1988 or 89 iirc...maybe 87....The 9005 was the last hardware version of the ROLM 9751...When Siemens bought ROLM 100% from IBM (who was behind the 9751...as that is an IBM model number), they took the Siemens HiCoM300 (which was already sold in Europe), changed the name and some features and viola, it became the 9751-9006i series...then a few years later, it changed BACK to the HCM300....IIRC the HCM box was around since 1990 but it wasnt sold in the US as the 9006i until Siemens took full control.
