Resetting the main message.

Please help, this is more given to an untrained one! Last year we put an avaya sys. with partner voicemail at the airport. We now how a new carrier, Big Sky, and the message still says US-Airways. So where do I go to change this message. I wasn't present when this was put in place(wasn't ask to be there) so I didn't see what the outside comp. did. Also the one in charge said it not in the voicemail, so how would I get there and make this change. Boy I'm getting tired flying by the seat of my pants, not much left after the chewing, you know what I mean, so please help this newbie!!!! Matt in NNY

To change the auto attendant greeting, you would need to log into the voicemail as the System Administrator. Once in, you would press (9 I believe) and navigate the prompts to check each auto attendant's greeting. The exact sequence will depend on which voicemail system is being used.

Avaya voicemail systems are menu driven so it shouldn't be too taxing.

Cool

Left intercom 777, then eather 99# and 1234 as the DEFAULT password (this may have been changed. Login ext may also be 0# and 1234 as the DEFAULT password. Once into vmail opt 3 is AA, then pick greeting # or follow prompts to listen to different greetings to see what is the one that needs to be changed.
