I need a Nortel Partner in NY and MI

I need HELP. I have a Definity G3r with version 4 code. I need to print reports off of a laser printer. At present I have a 4wire data port configured off of a TN726 going through an ADU. I need to find out how to make get the data out from the ADU in a format that the parallel port on the LEXMARK will be happy with. PLEASE HELP!!

TN number

Can you access your G3 via the network using DSA or ASA software? You could then print from DSA/ASA. If you are just using the terminal connected to the Switch I am not sure how to do it if that is the case.

Backing up an OPtion 11E

Grab a laptop, toss DSA/ASA/or a decent terminal emulator that will do 4410 emulation, and a DB-9 to DB-25 modem cable. You can hook the laptop up directly from com port to the terminal port on the switch. Then you can print to any printer you want, save to file, whatever.

Call forward-- DN not in service.

OR....

Get a LANSAT10 device (www.lansat10.com)...plug it into your SAT connection on the Definity and BAM! You can access the switch with DSA/ASA via your internal network. I just started using these devices with 3 version 6 switches....and it's great. Anywhere I have a network connection (or an Internet connection teamed with a VPN connection) I can manage my servers.

AND if I can get a Wireless LAN setup, I'll be able to wander around my building with my laptop and admin my switch....any support calls I'll bring my laptop and I can run instant status station commands, re-programming on site, etc....AWESOME!

And using this connection, you would be able to print via DSA....

I give up!!

DSA is Definity Site Adminstration and ASA is Avaya Site Administration(The newer version of DSA). It is the program that Avaya makes to administer the switch.
I am looking for a link on Avaya's site to see if it can be downloaded.
