If you have a laser printer with a serial input try connecting it directly to the printer port on the back opf the terminal. You may have to try changing some settings on the printer to get it to format correctly. Now if you want to do this to a remote printer you need to set up the port with the adu as a data terminal and give it an extension. Then you need to go through your parameters and find the system printer settings and set it up for that ext and also set the format. I dont know if the R is them same as an SI, if it is it will have a connector on the back of the cabinet that can also be used for a system printer or cdr output, If it does and it is available this might be a better place to connect the printer. The advantage of using a system printer vs a printer connected to the terminal is that you can schedule print jobs and not have to go type each one in every time. | ||||||||
