VS Mail 5.0 and extension 0 / 10

Hi all, new to posting in this forum but I have appreciated the information I've gotten from this site.

I have a partner voicemail VS 5.0, have it set up with a day and night ring. The day greeting states "to leave a voice message in the general mailbox, press Zero". Of course, pressing zero leaves a message at the receptionist, extension 10.

Our night ring has a similar message, but when pressing ZERO, it does not go to extension 10. It's going somewhere else, and where I don't know, but now it's saying that the mailbox is full. How can I find out where it's going? Or is that a different problem?

Thanks in advance!

You should have a technician check the programming for the system. The night service mailbox is different from the day service.

If you have a remote access card on your system and can supply the password for the system, a very nice tech could access your system and let you know what is happening and send you printouts for future reference.

Of course you should always know who you are dealing with and you should change the password after you get your information. Passwords should be changed by an administrator on a regular basis.

Good Luck,
