RE: Help!!! With Toshiba Stratagy Voicemail

Hi

I've just upgraded a friend's PC from an old PII to a new P4. This meant ditching his old ISA dialup modem for a PCI one. No big deal but we can't get a dial tone when using this modem behind his KX-T30810BE system. If we bypass it then it works fine. We also went back the old PC just to test it and that worked fine. I tried a different modem, an external Rockwell, and that didn't work either.

Any ideas what the problem could be?

you have to put "9" or "0" before the destination number. it's indicated that u make out side calling by PABX. you can modified it on the Dial Up Properties.

tell me if I Wrong, ok good Luck

But should I have to dial 0 or 9 just to get a dial tone? I think with our model it's 82 anyway but if that's the problem I should get a true dumb *** award!

RE: TVA50 - I

I think it is your modem if the system works. what happens when you plug a single line test set into the system?

try to plug a standard single line Telephone on your system. dial "9" or "0" or "81" or "82" whatever used ur model coz its just same way to get an Out side Call.

if U not Hear a Dial Tone, its meybe your Modem have some a problem
