Unhappy KX-TDA200 & IP-EXT16 help needed

Hi

I have a KX-TDA fitted with;

1 x PRI30
4 x DLC16
1 x DLC8
2 x DHLC8
1 x IP-EXT16
1 x OPB3

I have just installed the IP-EXT16 card and it was working, KX-TDA200 was on V2, tried to connect IP phone and said Phone System ver needed upgradeing, have upgraded phone system to V5 and now the IP-EXT card will not boot, all i get is 4 lights from top to bottom card status=red, online=green, alarm=red, voip busy=green

If i try to bring the card into servie it says it can not be found, have tried to delete the card and pre install and still not working, reflashed sad card and re-initialized back to v2 and it worked. pulling my hair out here and just need a few pointers please. any assistance is gratefully appreciated.

PS. The phones i am using are: KX-NT321UK-B (NT321UKBV7-1A)

did you up grade all files. did you initialize the system with the new files on the SD card then upgrade the dsys file to v5 and upload to system and then restart by command?

yep, backed up the sd card and the configuration, then downloaded V5 (All Files) and installed it to the SD card, rebooted and initialized. then copied applied the config file back and restarted by command, and chose skip and then replace to replace the DSYS_SUB file. have noticed that the IP-EXT16 card has firmware version 1.x, wondering if this could be an issue?

Could be. You can upgrade the card software. Get the card file and you load it to the card through the maintenance tool
