some companys or boss's dont want their ddi ringing in to their phone if they are on it. unlike co trunks, pri and bri isdn will hunt all of the numbers accross any free channels, not just the main line.

Thanks for your replies. Not to sure what went wrong originally though it seems the hunt group for reception had no overflow assigned. Could not really find anything in the manual for hunt group overflow and was a bit confused by this. Also I think our system has be programmed in an ad-hoc way. Once the setting for the reception hunt group was changed from busy to ovf it started working again
