Question Different Level Account Code on KX-TD1232

Is there a way to have Account Codes with different levels of restrictions on a KX-TD1232?, any clue?

Based on my understanding of the KX-TD1232 account codes can be either forced or optional. This option can be varied from extension to extension. When program the account code mode you must specify the jack number (extension) you wish to apply the account code feature to, next you must specify if account codes are forced or optional. If the account code is forced then the user must dial it prior to any calls (i.e. for all calls). If the account code is optional then the user can enter a code at their option by F3 button and entering the code within 30 seconds of finishing the call.

Yes and no. The problem is, once you assign a 4-7 dignt account code and give the extension class of service Walking COS, you let everyone who has that feature into the pool.

Example, 101 is COS 1 103 is COS 2 and both have Walking COS. They dial 47 1234 101 and their phone now has the COS 1 for all calls. If they dial 47 1234 103, they have COS 2.
So, do you get where this is going? Why not create an override extension with only the Walking COS feature and the levels you want them to have, then give out the password to only those that need it, or better yet, put the numbers in system speed dial?

Just a thought.

Yes, but unlike the smaller systems, it has no verification, one password fits all

Does the user have to dial the "47 1234 101" or the speed dial every time they want to make a call (with their corresponding COS)?

If I give to the users the walking COS extensions, the personal call consumption will be easy to measure like when using the account code?

Thanks for the answer, Mr. Navarro.
