Panasonic KX-TDA200 Hybrid IP-PBX connecting to VOIP provider

Hi,

I'd like some advice on whether this will work.

I'm trying to enable the KX-TDA200 to link up to a voip provider and so all the outbound calls will be made through voip channels.

I'm thinking of putting a Patton Gateway box in between the KX-TDA200 and the network.

I know there is a KX-TDA200 voip enabler card but I'm not familiar with the KX-TDA200.

Can someone please advice what the best solution is?

Thanks

there is no sip trunk card for the kxtda 200. so a Patton Gateway is the only solution
connected through a trunk card, you can set up trunk groups or use LCR/ARS to route the calls

Hi, I've got minimal experience with this phone system.
When you say a trunk card for the kxtda 200, can you let me know which is the part?
Is it the KX-TDA 0484 or example?

So to help me understand, I would get that card, connect it to a Patton Gateway through to a voip provider.

I'm not so familiar with the terms LCR/ARS on the panasonics.

Thanks

You can use the 0183 card, the 0484 card is a ip gateway card
the card you need is a analogue line card, you may have spare co ports on the system you could use. if the voip box you get is a ISDN to voip unit you will need 0284 card installed.
the LCR/ARS is a routing table you set up to automatically route outgoing calls to the cheaper route. if you want all calls to go out on voip, then just set that trunk group as first access
