Location: Pakistan Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Dear All, We recently have installed Panasonic KX-TDA200. We have 8 trunks and 72 extensions. We wanted to implement external dialing using “user account codes” so that employees will be given account codes that they will use from any extension for dialing outside office calls. Can someone please provide me the step by step guide that I can follow to achieve this? Unfortunately the vendor who had provided the system is unaware of this feature. We have Panasonic Unified Maintenance Console installed in PC. Thanks Farhan

Location: Pakistan Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Thank you very much for the response Carl. I have been provided Documentation CD with this PBX system, from which I studied "Feature Guide" which has mentioned about Verification Codes. Using PT Programming manual somehow I was able to create verification code. Now the problem is system accepts every number as a code. For example I have only defined 5454 verification code, but the system accepts all numbers as a code like: 5374, 34, 45784, 5454 etc. What should I do so that only defined codes to be accepted by the system? Thanks Farhan

Account codes was what it was called in the older systems. I sounds like what you want to do is verification codes so a user can dial a codes and he is able to call out. Forced account codes worn't work for you.

Location: Pakistan Rep Power: 0 ![]() | Carl & RUV thank you for the responses. Carl: Yes, I have set "Account Code Mode" to "Forced" under "CO & SMDR" -> COS Settings. But still system accepts every number as a valid code. RUV: How do I use TRS for verification codes? Regards, Farhan

Location: NW Ohio Rep Power: 6 ![]() | Alright, I sat down with my TAW and figured this out. First of all, I restricted the extension from dialing anything on a CO line by changing the COS to 2. Then, I set a verified account code 1234 1234 Now, dialing *47 *1234 1234 give me INTERCOM dial tone where I can dial "9" or press a line to make a call. If ya screw it up, you have to start all over and you only get one call. The COS assigned is 1 via Verified Account Code. It only took me 30 minutes to find the "*" Carl
