hi raj. First to transfer from the 7730 press transfer not hold and dial extension number when they answer tell them there is a call then hang up the call will go to that extension
If the phone is a slt use the recall or R button instead of transfer

No 2 press program on phone and then press button to be programmed dial 1 and extension number then press store when finnished press program again

I am still having the same problem ,when I dial the ext no, there is a tone &the ext cannot hear the ringing but it is good when used as intercom only. Pls what do you mean by slt,

SLT is a standard telephone no lights, dial 9 for a line not the keyset 7730.
what tone are you getting is it a beep or a continuous tone

do you refer to telset ringing for internal calls and not ringing when to transfer calls to same ext???

yes,intercom only it is o.k,but when rx co call.after pressing transfer and ext no I am getting fast-busy tone
