Red face KX-7630 Backlight not working
I'm sure this is an easy one (and not a fault) -

My KX-7630 LCDs are not backlit even though the backlight setting on the handset is set to "always on".

Am I missing something here or has something died in my aged handset? (And is it fixable?)

The kxt 7630 over here does not have a back light for LCD only the kxt 7633 and 7636 models?.

They have the settings on the phone for a backlight that isn't fitted?!

Bugger!

I wonder if there are spaces on the circuit board for the extra components - I might have to take a look...
