Post TA824 TVA50 VM transfer

I have a KX-TA824 and a TVA50. I'm having issues getting the Voicemail transfer to work. When someone calls from an outside line and I wish to transfer them to someones voicemail, and I press the voicemail transfer button, nothing happens. If I transfer a call to an extension (using a PT), it never kicks into VM when not answered.
If I let the TVA50 pickup the call first, the caller can navigate through the custom service menu, but if they are sent to an extension and wish to get someone else voicemail. The person on that extension is unable to transfer them to voicemail.

First thing you want to check would be the key you are referring to as your VM Xfr key. Enter station programming and check that that key actually HAS the VM Transfer function set. If not, dial in 90 and the ext of your VM (107 or 115).

The other thing is to check if your stations are forwarded correctly. If teh Fwd lite is not lit, set it by: Icm, Fwd, 2 (VM Ext#)#. this must be doen at each station or the call will not go to your mailbox, normally.

Cheers

Thanks, but I had the FWD timer set to low, and had it disabled. The VTR flexible buttons still don't work, but transferring to an extension will now kick it into VM after 15 seconds. not sure what I'm doing wrong with the VTR flexible button, but when it is pressed, it just beeps.
