Panasonic KX-TEM 8240 Audiocodes FXO MP118 CallerID

Hi all

I am trying to resolve Caller ID transfer issue between panasonic and Audiocodes MP118 FXO device.

The scenario is like this:

The PSTN lines are landing into panasonic.
KX-TEM 8240 (Advanced Hybrid Systems) by Panasonic .

From Panasonic lines are landing into Audiocodes MP118 from where it is getting converted to SIP and our DACX Contact Center Solution box is handling the calls.

Problem we are facing is that CLID is not getting passed through Audiocodes. But when we connect a phone with CLID support phone shows it.

Now does one know a setup of compatible parameters between panasonic and Audiocodes for this to work.

this is being done in UAE but I suppose that is not important as panasonic parameters should possibly convert it to compatible format if we can give them the parameters.

Thanks for help.

If it shows on a telephone it should work.
Do you have a caller Id card fitted, should be 1 card for every 3 lines.
If yes you have to tell the system what lines have cid on it (prog 900)

If you are using standard telephones not the 77xx or 70xx system phones you have to tell the system in (prog 628 )
Also the standard mode of cid is fsk. If you are using dtmf you need to change that (prog 910)
These codes could be different on your model, check in the programming manaul.

if you are running analog lines on the panasonic why not plug on of them into
sip box and make a test call and see if caller id comes out the other end
it will at least let you know what equipment to point the finger at.
