tda200 basic configuration

Hi everyone,

My first task in my new job is to re-configure an IP-PBX panasonic tda200, its already configured and working with 4 external analog lines and 200 internal extensions.

When someone calls from outside through any of the external lines, call routed to operator extension “which is 101 in our case”

To get the external line from an extension you dial 801, 802, 803, 804 to get the dial tone

Now, I need to do the following:
Routing one of the external lines directly to extension # 130.

I have the software and have access via USB port, but couldn’t figure out how to connect one external line directly to extension # 130.

Any idea please
Ammar

Ammar, you should be able to dial 9 to get a line, if it gives you a blank line you have to tell the system what lines are not in use.

In coming calls are set up in ring groups, or dil 1:1 to a extension. Sounds like you have not set up a Kxtda system before, you should get a local tech in to set up the system with you and show you to manage it. I am a certified Panasonic engineer and had to do courses to learn how to set up the system properly. A tech will set it up fully in a hour or 2 and show you how to manage the software. It will be money well spent.

hi, thanks for prompt replay,
i have worked on other pbx before, but not panasonic. so I already know the basics.

All I want to do is when someone calls us from outside, the call being routed to extension #130 instead of the operator "extension # 101"

where may I find the analog lines in the managment consol? should I manage it depending on slot/port or caller ID ?

I am using this line for FAX machine so simply want to say "if a call comes to this line number it should be routed to that extension" simple as this

is this possible with tda200 ?

thanks
Ammar

hi, Ammar
Do you want connect direct one line external to #130 ?
you can do it.
first . you need check external line, find line need use connect, you only should manage it depending on port.
continues, you go to "CO & Incoming call" in the managment consol, find row of external line need use, enter 130 in columns Day, Luch, Break, Nigth.

program finish, please check again.

Hi Ammar, TMT is right, you go in to co & incoming calls>dil and port settings> You will see the line ports. set the dil destination setting for the co number required.

make sure the distribution method is set to dil and enter ext 130 in day-lunch-break-night and apply.

If it is for a fax you can set up hotline ( pickup dial) in extension settings with line code so you dont have to put in access code when sending a fax

yes, it works

BTW, when i put 130 in all fields "day-lunch-break-night " it didn't worked, so put 130 in the "day" only and it works now.

thanks for help guys
