TDE V2.x and TDA v5.x, "High quality" MSG

The local Panasonic NSC announced that some new software versions will be available to support new hardware.

24ESLC w/CID (probably TDA600 Only), high density SLT card.
"High quality" MSG4 boards (for TDE and TDA), these will allow importing audio files and better recording quality - I think this is something many people have been waiting for.

The TDA600 will benefit from some other improvements, for example 32 tenants capability.

New firmware will allow the 16 IP EXT card to support some of the new IP Phones designed for the TDE (no support for LCD "phonecard" display).

New VoIP SIP firmware adds some improvements to the 03450 IP SIP gateway for the TDA small series, among them complete user agent identification.

High density DECT 8 channel base stations will be supported on the TDA M and TDA L (600), with support for IP high density BS planned later this year.

The new firmware will be available for the TDA M later this year.

it will probably the same as the 8 channel dect that is available on the kxtde, it will use up to 4 digital extensions to get 8 channels and can be put on in stages ie. you can have 2 extensions ( 4 channels) and add on if the area gets a lot of traffic , could fill up the extension ports quickly

I've had the software for both systems for a week now.

Not had too much chance to play with it but I'll be testing it back end of next week.

Wasn't aware of the 32 tenants so I'l check to make sure they are there.
I've only got limited supporting documentation for the software as it's still in Field Trial staus in the UK so I can only let you know what I find out for myself!

Uh-Oh!
T38 support has been added for the VoIP Vitual cards

I still have to test the TDA600 V5.x

New maintenance console is being released to solve some SXDP programing issues.

Virtual card IP tracelog is not working for me.

Also tested: 03450 VoiP SIP gateway for TDA Small (15/30 only, in Italy). V2.000 adds user agent announcing as "Panasonic v.2000). Strangely, the TDE v 2.000 still announce just "v2.000".

Do you known the price of the new 24ESLC card? I known that the price is different for other country, but i like to known average price (and compare it to price of 16SLC).

How much 24ESLC card takes power unit from power supply and do you known when 24ESLC card with new version for TDA600 will be released (march, july or later ) ?.

I wrote a reply which included a tentative list price, but it has been edited by the moderator, then just deleted, even though it included other infos.

The pricing info was just an indication for the Euro market.

This list is not private and anyone can stumble on it via a search engine. If you have not read the sticky note at the top of this forum, I suggest you do so now.

If the posting included other infos then you might repost it without the pricing. Even if it is Euros, I would not appreciate you pricing out systems for my customers unless it was absolute Panasonic LIST PRICE. It's best to not even quote pricing or say "you can get a KXT-7731 for about $200 US," or that the price of a 24 port card is about 1.5 times the price of a 16 port.
